The OWL

Hannah Cohen
Hannah Cohen is a sophomore and a writer for The Owl. While she’s always had an interest in creative writing, she has been recently intrigued by journalism and the vast topics it covers. The topics she’s most captivated by are politics and literature, which has cultivated her collection of campaign slogans and old fairy tales. These stories have led Hannah to be inspired by authors such as Amor Towles, Toni Morrison, and David Sedaris. She’s excited to be on The Owl staff this year to explore a new style of writing and to learn more about her community. When she doesn’t have her nose in a book, Hannah can be found skiing, binging fiction podcasts, stumbling through sheet music, or wandering around the Rocky Mountains with her exceptionally cute labradoodle. Although Hannah is slightly preferential to the sweeter, more robust taste of red grapes, she knows that the bliss of biting into a crunchy grape transcends color.
