The Owl

Brenna Wright

Brenna Wright, Writer

Brenna Wright is a senior at BHS and a new member to The Owl. She's very involved in the school community being the #1 fan of the women's soccer team, a commissioner for Panther Pride, and a part of NHS. Brenna loves to hike, cook with her mom, and hangout with friends and family. Dealing with her busy schedule, physical therapy, and the stresses of being a teenager, Brenna often looks to her mom for guidance because of her unrelenting work ethic and kindness. This dedication and passion is also seen by Brenna in her grandparents, who she refers to as her heroes. Her grandma played basketball in high school and fought for gender equality in sport and her grandfather continues to run triathlons into his 80s. One of her biggest role models is her sister, and Brenna admires the passion for writing and literature that she has. Through joining the Owl, Brenna hopes to develop her own writing and researching skills (to one day be as great as her sister), meet a greater variety of people, and make a positive impact at Boulder High. She has considered pursuing careers in journalism and epidemiology, both of which require the ability to not only write eloquently but also be clear in the message that's being communicated. Brenna prefers red grapes.
