Zoe Scott

Zoe Scott, Writer

Zoe Scott is a senior at Boulder High School. She is excited about being a member of The Owl this year and is looking forward to developing her own voice in the exciting world of journalism. Zoe is also looking forward to the new and interesting experiences that Newspaper has to offer. When it comes to writing, Zoe is hoping to continue taking baby steps out of her comfort zone and broadening her horizons on a variety of prompts and topics. For many, heroes can be hard to find and inspiration can easily become a concept lost in the deep. For Zoe, her hero and inspiration both take shape as her mom. Her mother has always been supportive and caring but most importantly pushes Zoe to follow her heart no matter what path that might be. When she’s not at school you can find Zoe channeling her inner grandma, sitting in her rocking chair practicing embroidery or in the kitchen making candles. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends and taking long walks on the beach. Saturdays, however, are devoted to caring for her 23 plant babies. Finally, like any sane person, Zoe prefers green grapes over the purple ones.
