The Owl

Jacqueline Shires

Jacqueline Shires, Writer & cartoonist

Jacqueline (Jacquie) Shires is a senior at Boulder High School. She is excited to slay in her first year at The Owl, just as she does at her regular 2 A.M. fashion show. In her very little free time, you can find Jacquie furiously tearing through fruits of all sorts, with her favorites being peaches and the superior purple grape. Jacquie lives in the theater tunnels. She emerges only to find the gaff tape, resume responsibilities of Stage Manager, captain the ultimate frisbee team, Flower Power, and crash her mountain bike. Her hobbies include being flattened by beginner enemies in Elden Ring, getting ink poisoning by drawing excessively on her arms, and rocking janky riffs on her guitar. Jacquie hopes you enjoy her writing and reading The Owl as a whole!
