Stella Breed-Carithers, Staff Writer
Stella Breed-Carithers is a current senior at Boulder High and needs a space to yap about her strong, and at times dividing opinions. She is part of a cello band – all cool kids are – and wears her “Eat, Sleep, Cello, Repeat” pin with pride. When she is not serenading her dog with the cello, you can find Stella propagating plants, making kombucha or in the North Boulder Rec sauna. In her free time, Stella enjoys driving her sister to piano lessons, driving her sister to soccer practice and driving her sister to pottery. Stella is increasingly protective of her sleep schedule, forfeiting homework, friends, and reading in favor of a little REM. As someone who grew up reading the New York Times with her parents on Sunday mornings, Stella is excited to write for The Owl and try out working in a newsroom. On the topic of grapes, green, crunchy, slightly sweet, and refrigerated grapes are undeniably scrumptious as opposed to their squishy and sour counterparts.
