Mark Gallegos, Writer & cartoonist
Mark Gallegos has finally been given the opportunity to study in an American school and become a junior at Boulder High as a writer for the Owl newspaper. Before attending high school, Mark lived in a comfortable space for nine months before he got kicked out of his comfort zone. Apparently, that was the moment when he was born, and since then, he’s had trouble adapting to life, considering being born wasn’t on his to-do list, plus the hardships that came with simply existing, but enough about his existential dread, let’s get to know Mark on a more personal level. When not having to worry about what he’s going to have to eat that day, Mark enjoys doing personal writing and spending time creating clean illustrations he considers to be ‘art’—sure thing, whatever makes you sleep at night—and at times, goes out of his way to make friends in fairly interesting ways, some of his best relationships came from situations one would normally never find themselves in. He wishes to someday live a complete life, and just like Jim Halpert, need to only worry about the safety of those he holds near and dear to his heart, despite how corny it makes him sound—no seriously, he really is that corny—and in regards to the debate, Mark will have you know that he strongly stands by those delicious purple grapes and anyone who thinks otherwise should consider themselves to be a traitor—this message was approved by the community of purple grape enjoyers.
