The Owl

Mark Gallegos

Mark Gallegos, Writer & cartoonist

After surviving an entire year here at Boulder High, Mark Gallegos is ready and excited to get back into the arena for a second time to vanquish the monster that is senior year. Writing for The Owl newspaper this semester will definitely come with its struggles, and no amount of caffeinated coffee will keep him from overstressing about keeping up with his work. So if you happen to bump into him in the hallways, please be patient with him, he’s really trying. When not working on future Owl projects, Mark enjoys playing basketball with friends and hiking tall mountains, despite being super out of shape. No pain, no gain. In general, enthusiasm, patience, empathy and purple grapes is what will get him not only through the year, but through those hard moments we’ve all certainly been through in and out of school. Best of luck to us all!
