The Owl

Arlene Solis

Arlene Solis, Arts & Entertainment editor

Arlene Solis is a junior at Boulder High, and for the first year is an Arts and Entertainment coeditor for The Owl. She’s excited for this role as she could basically get a Master’s degree in understanding Taylor Swift Easter eggs and is equally fluent in popular movies! She is also excited to continue writing for all of the different newspaper sections. When not in school, Arlene can be found horseback riding in rain or shine, and working at the Boulder Farmers’ market! She is an avid reader, with her favorite genres being historical fiction and romance. Opinionated with many things in life, purple grapes have always been the obvious better choice, along with Conrad over Jeremiah from The Summer I Turned Pretty. There is no convincing her otherwise. Starbucks and hiking are her current addictions, which are often satisfied by frequent hikes at Chautauqua with Barbie Frappuccinos immediately afterwards.
