Amara is very interested and involved with the arts department at Boulder High. She is a member of NAHS and attends art club every week. She likes drawing at the library with her friends and going to the movie theater. Amara is bilingual but doesn’t speak spanish as much as she should. She has three dogs Fluffy, Sweet Pea, and Peanut. Although her dad calls them by different names: Phoebe, Mordecai, and Baxter. Speaking of peanuts Amara is deathly allergic to them and all tree nuts. It is an allergy that has humbled her and has made her very aware of the severity or mortality. You know what she’s not allergic to? Grapes. She especially likes the green ones.
