Adah Ellis-Rissler is one of the many seniors approaching the deadline for their high school career. While being confronted with fear of the future outside the Boulder bubble, Adah often finds catharsis through the many hobbies she’s involved in throughout the community. While a future beyond school lies ahead, her life is often defined by homework deadlines that always come sooner than planned. But, after school hours, Adah balances her passions for music and sports as best she can. Throughout her four years, she has been strongly dedicated to the girls basketball team and spends most of her time running up and down courts and on buses with her teammates. Living in Boulder her whole life, the Bolder bubble has less of a dazzling impact on Adah, for she's seen the ugly Boulder possesses. For example, the explosive wildfires Boulder has housed over the last four years have introduced themselves as obstacles for many outdoor activities and given Adah a strong resentment towards the dry landscape Boulder presents, which may or may not be a strong influence on her love for greenery in nature and green coloring in grapes.
