Still Woozy at CU
Still Woozy, originally from Oakland, CA, has become a popular music group in a short amount of time. On April 28th, 2019, days after performing at a huge music festival, Coachella, he came to Boulder to perform at the CU Spring Concert. Originally planned to happen at the Mary Rippon Outdoor Theatre, it was unfortunately moved to the University Memorial Center’s Glenn Miller Ballroom. The CU Spring Concert was put on by University of Colorado Program Council, which is a source of entertainment for CU students and residents of Boulder.
Still Woozy is definitely a great source of entertainment. His creative and unique songs and lyrics give him a fun sound that many people listen too. He has over 2 million Spotify subscribers, and his #1 song “Goodie Bag” has over 32 million downloads.
Yeek, who is from South Florida, was an opening act. Both Still Woozy and Yeek are great examples of smaller groups that are making a name for themselves in the music industry. They are small, but still get a lot of enthusiastic audiences that memorize all the lyrics to all their songs.
